Yesterday, Alliotts partner Sudheer Gupta once again took to the saddle to participate in London’s celebrated cycling festival, Prudential Ride London.
Ride London is one of the enduring legacies of the London 2012 Olympics. Having started in 2013, its route takes cyclists 100 miles from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park through some of Surrey’s spectacular countryside. There is also a shorter 46 mile traffic free route to help keep the event inclusive of all abilities.
London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan welcomed triple Le Tour winner Chris Froome and saw the cyclists off from the starting line tweeting “I want to make London a byword for cycling” The Mayor is a keen supporter of Ride London which attracts the world’s top cyclists and is another opportunity to showcase the diversity of experiences that London has to offer.
Sudheer who spoke with Sadiq Khan at the start said,
'It was great to be part of such a great event and to see London's Mayor there showing his support for the Capital, which is most certainly open for business.'
