A seminar for growing businesses

On 3rd July we are leading a seminar at the European Space Agency Headquarters at Harwell on what it takes to build a successful business.  We have invited experts and clients in complementary areas to join us to give a fully rounded presentation of what it takes to be successful in business.

At the seminar, which is hosted by the team at Harwell Campus, we’ll be exploring a wide rage of essential topics, ranging from business plans and legal agreements; making the most of tax reliefs and other incentives; reducing the risk of fraud; to setting up in the UK and international expansion.  Presentations will be followed by an interactive Q&A session with our panel.

The Alliotts presenters will cover three key areas in their presentations. Chris Cairns, (who bases himself at Alliotts satellite office at Harwell one day a week), will be taking an in depth look at business plans, why they are necessary and what you need to include in a robust plan. Chris works with fast growing businesses in space and tech sectors, providing strategic advice and business services.  Corporate tax specialist Norma Chisholm advises businesses on tax reliefs and incentives including EIS and SEIS, R&D as well as tax efficient group structures.  Jonathan Graham is a member of our fraud prevention team and works with businesses to help them identify areas of vulnerability and put processes in place to help mitigate the risk of fraud to their business.

The seminar is open to all businesses, for more information or to register please contact Abigail Richings at the Harwell Campus.
