Xerocon London, Xero UK’s annual tech conference is always a key date in our diaries. So Alliotts Xero team were excited to go along to this year’s event at ExCel London on 13-14 November to find out what’s new in the Xero ecosystem.

Here are some of the key things to come out of Xerocon 2019:

AutoPay - For sales invoices via an integration with Stripe and GoCardless.

A business can turn on autopay to receive recurring card payments for repeat billing customers directly through Xero. Automating the collection of payments is very important for positive cashflow.

Pay with TransferWise - A bill payment solution that helps users pay and manage their bills more efficiently.

It’s also the first bill payment solution from Xero which allows customers to pay bills using their existing bank account, regardless of the bank. Pay with Transferwise enables users to manage their bill payments directly from Xero.

Business insights dashboard

Real-time business insights will help users understand the performance of their business and flag potential concerns and opportunities. The data all exists in Xero, and Business Snapshot will gather, organise and display the figures and insights on one page, in a dashboard style within Xero.

Cash-flow forecasting tool

Visually projects the user’s bank balance 30 days into the future, showing the impact of existing bills and invoices that are paid on their due dates. This will enable users to make decisions on payments and bills more efficiently and will be released in 2020.

Xero Tax

A fully integrated tax preparation workflow and the new features will include single sign-on with Xero, integration with the Fixed Asset Register and electronic signatures. Although the corporation tax and accounts production module will not be released until March next year.
