Within payroll there are times we work with other departments in our clients’ businesses
Within payroll there are times we work with other departments in our clients’ businesses.
Recently a client asked us a specific question about our payroll reporting style and how it affected their bookkeeping.
While our reports are very detailed and concise, there are times they don’t fit into the parameters our clients would prefer.
On this occasion we were tasked with developing a new custom report showing the gross to net splits per employee, to ease the workload for the clients’ accounts team.
We asked them to provide us with information on the software they used. The next step would be for us to work with our providers to create a report that would best suit their needs.
After some research and development, we were able to produce a custom report which was successful in drastically lowering their workload when completing their bookkeeping tasks relating to payroll.
This customised reporting is a function we can use for other clients if they have similar requirements.
We always strive to ensure our clients get help with all aspects of their business. This contributes to the success of the business, saving them time to dedicate to other tasks.
