Clair advises clients on their eligibility for R&D tax relief. She has achieved successful R&D claims for clients in a range of sectors including manufacturing; healthcare; technology; retail and finance. Clair also has experience of patent box applications. Clair will challenge some of the myths around eligibility for R&D tax relief and will explain how the incentive works.

Sejal Shah, Alliotts: An advisor in Alliotts Corporate Tax team and Alliotts Media team, Sejal has worked on many R&D claims. She assists in preparing the relevant reports and calculations to support a claim. This often means understanding the intricacies of a process within a business. She also liaises with clients on their R&D application to make it as smooth as possible. Sejal will go through real life case studies and will list which business expenses you can claim for.

Stephanie Kleyman, Kleyman & Co: Stephanie has over 30 years’ experience in commercial law, with a particular interest in intellectual property.
