The future for UK and Türkiye space sector businesses

How working together will help generate sector growth for UK and Turkish space sector businesses.

I was honoured to be invited to speak at the Department for Business and Trade in Türkiye’s first joint trade and investment event for the space sector  “Shaping the Future: The UK Space Sector and Opportunities for Turkish Companies” which was held in the prestigious surroundings of the British Embassy in Ankara on Wednesday19 March.

Alliotts LLP were proud partners of the event along with Türkiye Uzay Ajansı  SAHA İstanbul and Redfern Solicitors.

The delegates in the room including representatives from the British Embassy, space industry leaders and advisors to the sector were committed to the advancement of British and Turkish space businesses and the potential for working collaboratively on shared opportunities. As an advisor to inward investing businesses, I shared the details of the UK tax incentives and the compliance requirements for companies setting up in the UK.

There is a wealth of talent and expertise in both regions that I am confident will collectively lead to significant growth in the sector.
