Steve has over 25 years of experience advising clients from a wide cross section, ranging from large international companies, professional partnerships and family businesses to Charity and Not for Profit organisations.
He leads the firm’s Charity and Not for Profit team which provides audit compliance, financial reporting and outsourced services to over 100 such organisations.
Steve adopts a practical role and is often in near daily contact with some of his clients, as a result he often hears about, and provides solutions to, issues before they become problems.
Steve sits on the advisory panel of auditors to academies and the audit committee of a large educational charity. Steve has been awarded the Diploma in Charity Accounting by the ICAEW, recognising his expertise in charity accounting.
In 2019 Steve was elected as Chairman of Alliotts and will be responsible for driving the firm's future strategy.

In his free time Steve is keen to be outdoors.
He can be found cycling (slowly) in the Surrey Hills on a Saturday/Sunday morning on his mountain bike, desperately trying to avoid being overtaken by lycra-clad grannies.
In recent years in the winter he has discovered the joy of skiing in the Alps (at a slightly quicker pace than his cycling).
Whilst in the summer Steve is a keen amateur gardener (definitely at no pace at all!).
A life long Stoke City fan, he was ecstatic to see his team at Wembley in the 2011 FA Cup Final.
Alliotts was founded in 1869 in the City of London
