The people in our team all have cross-sector experience. But they have chosen to specialise in working with education providers. And for some, it is a choice that goes back thirty years.
With this level of experience and commitment, we are primed and ready to provide you with an extensive range of specialist accountancy and audit services:
Taking on academy status is a difficult and complex process – and we understand the enormous pressure it heaps on head teachers, governors and leadership teams.
At Alliotts, we advised one of the very first schools to convert to an academy. Since then, we have worked with individual academies, multi-academy trusts and academy groups. Each time, we have been there to guide and reassure throughout the process, then provide valuable ongoing assistance once they are up and running.
We have worked with FE colleges for decades. Always working hard to provide crucial support and intelligent advice around audit, accounting and strategic services.
We understand the challenges you are grappling with right now, especially with funding. Our team of accountants, tax specialists and business advisors is led by an expert who is a working group member of a funding body.
What does that mean for you? It means we are extremely well-placed to help you demonstrate efficiency and compliance. And secure the levels of funding you need and deserve.
Alliotts was one of the top ten firms nationally delivering external audit services to Further Education Sector in 2022. This is based on the FY22 sector benchmarking data published by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency).

Testimonials
“We are very happy with the service we have received from Alliotts accountants. As our internal auditors, their team do a thorough and professional job ensuring that all deadlines are met. If I have issues during the year, I know that I can pick up the phone directly to the Partner at Alliotts and ask for advice. I would recommend Alliotts to other Academies looking for quality, professional financial support.”
